Launching podcast of occasional one off dramas, what should I think about?

Most podcasts are episodes in a series, but these will be unique dramas, maybe 4-6 per year.

How should I approach getting them out there ?

EDIT: 30-90 minute full plays. Maybe drama, comedy. Serious or fun. Small cast.

Favourite conventional drama. Not SF,horror etc.just a regular human story?

The SF,horror, supernatural, true crime genres seem to completely dominate audio drama. But what about just a conventional story and regular people? There’s loads on the telly, do what’s your hot favourite??

Two-hander drama, I want to use one Yeti in bi-directional. But should I use two Yeti mics?

EDIT: this is for Audio drama

The script is very tight and needs the two actors to face each other, there’s a lot of interrupts and talking over each other.

I’m tempted to record with a single yeti in bi-directional mode and keep the actors facing each other.

But, would it make a significant difference to use two yetis and give each actor their own mic? Perhaps separated a bit more from each other?

Recording two handed: any benefit of two Yeti mics over one bi-directional?

Edit: I have one yeti, do I buy another for a one off small record?

Kitchen sink drama: record live room or dead?

Going to record a two handed play set entirely in a kitchen. Should I record this dead and any room reverb later, Or just record in a kitchen anyway?

My feeling is record in a dead space.

Recording an inner monologue

I’m ready to record my first drama. The story of developing dementia. The final scene is a his daughter talking to him in real life. And him replying in his head (late stage dementia is often unable to speak)

Any suggestions for how to make that clear in the audio?

Client says laser cut MDF made him ill?

Says soon after he unpacked a model buildings kit he could smell it, got headache made him cry. And another person affected too.

Product was made days before shipping, though had been in a sealed bag. It has sat out for at least a day before bagging.

Says he had not glued, painted or anything. Just taken it out of the bag.

I have never heard of anything like this before. I use laser safe MDF.

Anybody heard of this happening?

EDIT: Customer is not trying one on, he and his partner have definitely had this reaction.

I've had occasional people have issues with the smell, which seems to be one of those things that only affects a few people who find it very strong - but that is not what happened here.

MDF is laser safe purchased from Kitronik, not home depot mdf sheets.

Why don't mic boom operators have a monopod stand?

Having done this once for 5 minutes, it's really hard work!! Why don't boom operators have a monopod to take the weight or even a tripod to hold it all?

These days there must be any number of gimbals and sliders to allow free movement?

From calm to angry in 30 seconds in a five minute scene

I’m in an anthology play, this scene is only five minutes long. I have to go from sweet to raging angry in 30 seconds.

There is no off stage area, all the cast are in the front row.

With no prep space out of site, any suggestions on how to get there ?

I have a 300 vax. Have done the boundary map and obstacle run.

I need to adjust the boundary where my first run was not accurate

I need to remove a couple of obstacles which have now been cleared.

How do I do this?

I can’t see how to make minor map adjustments?
