We've got a pond with a mucky entrance and after years 10 years we've decided upgrade to a simple dock, preferably wood. If you've got a recommendation let me know. We're in Dutchess County near Pine Plains.
We've got a lot of poison ivy, and now it's growing in our actual lawn where we mow the grass (and walk barefoot). I know there are ways to DIY it but I don't have time and energy to do it. If anyone has a recommendation for a company to use LMK!
Hoping to get a crew of people to meet in Prospect Park on the Longmeadow today at 10 to get to work on cleaning up this insane mess. I’ll have a trash grabber and garbage bags and a bunch of plastic gloves. Let’s meet at the big tree on the meadow at the end of the Garfield path. Hope to see some people there! Cleaning beats complaining (though I could definitely complain).
UPDATE! People really pulled together to clean, and many beat us to it this morning. Just got home and the park looks great. Thanks everyone!
