Robert J Lang's brown widow!

First time tackling a crease pattern only model, HELL of a challenge but I think it came out pretty good!

Made from homemade single tissue with fountain pen ink spots

Didn't get the abdomen quite the same as the original, more of an orb weaver then a widow but I'm happy!

Looking for shaping advice

Hello friends! I've started diving into realistic shaping and I would love some advice! I just finished Jo Nakashima's spider with my first homemade double tissue, and took this opportunity to play with realistic shaping. Did I get it right? Anything I could have done better?

I used mod podge for the shaping if that helps! Love how stiff it made the legs.

Okay this one came out really good!

Same pattern as my last experiment, but with different paper and different fountain pen ink! Almost looks like lying down and looking up through the tree leaves above

Trying a little experiment

So, finally found a way to combine my two hobbies! Been thinking of how various inks would interact with wet origami! Shoot if anything it's a fun way to use my vast collection of ink lol!

Will update when the paper dries!

Trying a little experiment

I've had this bouncing around in my head forever, why not drop fountain pen ink onto wet paper? I've got a metric SHIT ton of ink, so why not! I'll update when it's dry!

Edit: new pics in comments!
