I got this brand new from their website and paid full price as the second hand on eBay are not convincing. Is nice but honestly I don't need it in a daily basis like other accessories (box opener). Thoughts?

I got a brand new never used Pelikan M1000 black/green on Broad for $630 USD from Swovel Direct. If you are fond of the black body, $595 is the price. I think is an excellent value for the money for a great pen, this nib is wet and smooth and is bigger than the #9 of my Montblanc 149. Recommended seller, not affiliated or getting commissions, just a happy customer.
Edit to add that at least for my state, LA, they did not charged the VAT so I only paid $630 while Amazon and other retailers usually charge me taxes.

Anyways, on that day I ordered 2 pads of loose sheet of old (and back then only version) Tomoe River paper from Amazon.

• The catch is that I used a couple of these pages to write letters and therefore are rated D. I can assure you that are more than 90% complete but I do not know how count the sheets without the risk of damage these fine leafs.

This is the donation pen Herbert Von Karakan. A pen with flat ends that has a really smooth nib. I was not aware of why the name of "donation pen" and seems like the reason is that Montblan would donate part of the proceedings. The Karahan and the Solti had the same emblem on the nib but this one has gold accents while the Solti was Rhodium plated.
