Review of the 2nd Gen Open Earbuds
I got in my open earbuds today and they are definitely a marked improvement from the 1st Gen :]
First off, the sound quality on both the normal and immersive audio modes is much clearer, with stronger bass and a less tinny sound! Just putting them in and playing a random song I noticed they sounded stronger and clearer!!
Next, the microphone quality is immensely better, I tested on 2 phone calls, my mom didn’t say I sounded choppy for once (she had complained about clarity on the 1st Gen). My husband, who also owns the 1st Gen said that the microphone and audio were wayyyyy better than before, so this is excellent!!
They definitely feel more comfortable and lightweight too (although technically the 1st gen weighs 13.1 grams, and the 2nd is 13.2 grams, according to my kitchen scale), so I am very pleased with these improvements. Plus, now you can see the charging case’s battery percentage, and it works well with magnetic charging.
If you were thinking of getting this upgrade, I would def recommend it!
