hey all

still feeling isolated and i’ve joined a few clubs but nothing much on the social side has occurred. i’m a second year SPCE, PHYS and minor in COMP student. i’d really love to feel more connected to univeridsty and make proper friends there. i don’t know what it is but it feels harder than highschool to make friends. do people meet people only in clubs? do i hangout at the library and ask random people?
i’d appreciate someone to point me in the direction of fun, i’d love to go to music concerts, game nights etc. any recommendations would be cool

I am an avid student but also face challenges with ADHD, BPD and CPTSD. Because of this, it makes studying very hard or doing anything that requires a shift of focus. So far the only thing that works is comfort shows in the background, makes me feel less alone. I'd like to know what works for other students? what do you do to help you do the things you NEED to do but dont want to do?

for example, I have repeatedly watched shows like: American Dad, Family Guy, the simpsons, Game of thrones, house of the dragon, disenchantment, gravity falls. I really like dystopian shows or themes that take me out of my current world, like an escape almost. Also obessed with the maze runner and realllllly need more background tv shows. Or please suggest things you do that help you feel connected and motivated to do functional human stuff? like whats your morning routine to get to study or uni? any advice would help :)

seen many instagram posts and stories about how we used to rely on these little fellas and it’s very intently made me sad when i see a lone pigeon. either that or i desperately almost want to make friends with them and have a pet bird
also isn’t there like a scientific fact that some birds remember when you’re nice to them? can’t remember which ones but i think that’s sweet.. 🦆🦆🐥🐣🦢

hi guys, beautiful day out i know!
i suffer with depression and cptsd and bpd. some days its really hard to leave the house. after work particularly. i’ve just moved into this apartment.. and ive ended up crying over the fact my room gets no direct sunlight. i was wondering if theres many like me in the city. i know its first world problems and im very grateful for the spot im in. i just really enjoy sun as it helps me get up and at em. i would almost feel better if theres heaps of wellingtonians that also have the same experience….
