Personally i think shimano baicasters drag numbers are fairly low compared to their competitors like daiwa anyone with me on this one? Dont get me wrong i lile shimano i only have shimanos but do you also think this is a flaw?
I am thinking about getting a saragosa 8k or stradic sw 8k with a rod that can throw around.100g and plus maybe 300g or 200g.for now dont get mad pike big pike baits and deadbaits but i travel alot and next year im going to curaqao and im plannig to fish on tuna and other salt species and in suriname big catfish i already have a shimano stradic c3000hg with a 3 to 15g rod for zander perch trout and pike and small salt fishes like seabass mackrel or trevally and what else not and i also have a shimano slx dc 71 with a rod that can throw 28 to 70g so light and medium im already covering but heavy not yet so should i pull the trigger on it ? Planning to use it as a multi purpose workhorse
I sawed of a piece with a Stanley blade and a cutting tool and then I used sanding paper 400grit and sanded it until it fit and took of the last eyelet with the blade and took of the tip with a lighter and used a hotglue stick to put it back on
Hello how can i fix this the best i was thinking about heating up the rod tip and taking the tip off. And then put it on the other piece but it broke right above an eyelet so do i gotta take the resin off with a razor and then use a hot glue stick or resin epoxy to stick it back on but do i also need to take a piece off the blank and how much thrn and ill also sand it down a little
