Played the game in Alpha, returned to get banned after few days.
I bought the game for alpha back in 2016 and after spending some time in it I haven't really played until now as I got more time and a team to play with. I was literally noobbing like crazy, learning new mechanics and progression, dying to ai and stuff. Top 5% worst players on the server easily. Logged of for a day of work after long gaming session - I get back to see the EAC permanent ban for cheating.
Appeal filed immediately once I learned but I think everyone in this sub is already aware that this doesn't even go anywhere, they give us a little screen to look at with hope meanwhile not a single human will ever look at it but I digress.
My pc is squeaky clean as I use it for work as well and since I work with software and client data there is no dodgy software here or ever been. Not even a single .exe that Defender would flag. The only idea I have they could detect as software that manipulates inputs is the Keyboard Chattering Fix app that I use because my Keychron misbehaves - but I turn it of for the gameplay anyway as it messes up the inputs rather than improving them in any way, as it's purpose is to stop duplicated inputs sent by faulty keyboard. No advantage here for sure.
The rest of the story is probably the same for everyone - Facepunch doesn't give a damn just counts the skin revenue, Epic also washes hands, EAC has no contact info where I could dump any logs.
