I believe this is the best formation for Portugal to unlock their potential in attacking. The biggest mistake in previous game was making Vitinha and Neves play the DM role. All they did was back pass, no creativity just pass the ball wider. This made Bruno play a different role which was not his actual gameplay. So what we do is we fix the midfield by making them play their own game.

Starting with DEFENSE

2 CB - Inacio and Dias. Two walls of Portugal's defense.

Next 1DM - Ruben Neves who is pretty much good at playing CB and DM will play the pivot role in Portugal's defense.

Next 2WB/IFB - Nuno Mendes and Cancelo can be played as either Wing Back or Inverted Full Back. Both good at defense and lethal in attacking; making through balls and crosses. Imo play them as Wing back

Now ATTACKING

2AM - Vitinha and Neves duo as Attacking Mid, which controls the tempo of Portugal's attacking. They will sure make a difference.

1CAM - Bruno being the main playmaker will create so much goal scoring opportunities with crosses and through balls. He's the one who can do it.

Now the final piece

2ST - Felix and Ronaldo chemistry at Al Nassr will definitely get goals for Portugal. They are capable and we see them at AlNassr

So this is my analysis and we can make so much impact from the bench. It has so much potential. Neto, leao, ramos, Conceicao, silva, trincao, nunes dalot etc...
