Here is a photo of a turtle to celebrate. Turtle! Turtle!
Double Barrel Bar, Tomah, WI
Tasty. Chill vibe, friendly bartender and customers. Self pour taps.
Stockyards Bar and Grill, Dodge, WI
Acceptable bloody, garnish was low quality. $8 taco salad was delish. Bonus photo of stray Temu cat waiting for a handout.
Twisted Turtle, Ettrick, WI
Won’t be back. Not even a pickle spear.
Winnebago part number needed.
I could use a little help here. I have a 2017 Winnebago Brave 31C. The accent lights above the sofa only partially light up and I’d like to replace them. I’m not having any luck finding a part number. I emailed Lichtsinn RV on Sunday and asked them but they haven’t responded.
Grandpa’s Saloon, Nelson WI.
Ordered a bloody and was disappointed to see the bartender bring out the Clamato. Didn’t bother to try to explain that a place advertising thier ‘famous’ bloodys was actually serving Caesars. Came with a beer chaser (Spotted Cow) and a sad pickle spear and acceptable olive as garnish. My unindicted co-conspirator number 2 ordered an old fashioned that she found to be undrinkable. Unindicted co-conspirator number 1 had a whiskey and ginger ale with a slice of lime that she found to be quite acceptable. 6/10. Would go back, but would choose different drinks or stick to the eclectic selection of bourbons and whiskey/whiskys.
No garnish, nice tomato flavor without being overpowered by spices, nice little kick of heat but not enough to be painful. €13 is extortionate though unless they’re milking vodka from a herd of free range potatoes in the kitchen.
They tried. Tomato forward, not much flavour beyond that. No garnish.
