Just turned 39 3 weeks ago. Had my first EEG 2 days ago. Got the results yesterday that I showed “bitemporal irritability putting her risk for partial to secondarily generalized seizures.” My Dr added notes in my chart about next steps including no driving for 6 months and to avoid/taper stimulants for ADHD.

IM SO PISSED RIGHT NOW. I have always been a super independent “I’ll just do it myself” type. I already feel trapped not being able to drive! And my ADHD meds are the only thing that helps me feel like I can function like a normal human.

This is mostly a vent/processing, but I guess if anyone else has gotten similar results I’d like to hear about your experience.
