Solo travelling to Ujjain tomorrow

Hi everyone! I’ll be reaching Ujjain tomorrow and travelling solo. Would love to connect with any women who are travelling on the same date. 😊

Cozy Bear took ₹698 from me, never generated an order, ignored me for months and told me they wouldn’t scam someone for “merely ₹700”

I’m posting this because I genuinely want to understand what happened to my money and whether anyone else has experienced something similar with Cozy Bear (cozybear.in)
Insta handle : https://www.instagram.com/cozybear.in?igsh=Nm0wYnhwZzRvZnZi

I ordered a cute mug rug on 16 June 2026, I made a ₹698 UPI payment to Cozy Bear.
The payment was successfully debited from my SBI account but:
• I never received an order confirmation
• I never received an Order ID
• The product was never delivered
• I never received a refund
I tried contacting Cozy Bear repeatedly since June through email, Instagram DMs/comments, LinkedIn, and even directly contacted the founder. They ignored me everywhere for months.
Eventually, after I commented publicly on one of their recent Instagram posts, they finally responded and later deleted and limited my comments
Initially, they told me they couldn’t find the payment in their Shopify/Razorpay records and asked me to contact the payment provider. Ps: these guys have come on shark tank

I investigated further.
My Paytm transaction record shows:
₹698 → Cozy Bear
16 June 2026, 9:48 PM
Payment Successful
“Received on Merchant’s Business app”

My SBI statement also shows the ₹698 debit.
When I sent this evidence to Cozy Bear, they eventually escalated the matter to Razorpay to locate the transaction.
But one thing they said to me really bothered me. They said:
“We will never scam someone for merely 600 rupees.”
And this is where my frustration isn’t really about the ₹698.
If ₹700 is “merely” ₹700 to a brand, that’s exactly why the issue matters. If the same thing happens to hundreds of customers, those “merely ₹700” amounts become a significant amount. More importantly, a customer’s money and the responsibility to resolve a payment issue shouldn’t depend on whether the amount is considered significant by the company.
What bothers me just as much is that I had been trying to contact them for months. If there was genuinely a payment processing issue and they couldn’t locate the transaction, why was I unable to get a response until I commented publicly on a recent post?
I’m now pursuing the matter through the bank/payment dispute process and National Consumer Helpline.
I’m posting this because I’d genuinely like to know:
1. Has anyone else had a similar experience with Cozy Bear?
2. Has anyone had an order/payment issue that took months to resolve?
3. Has anyone dealt with a UPI payment that showed as successfully received by the merchant but couldn’t initially be located by the merchant?
Please be aware of this brand. They’re shameless.
