Fourth efan controller I've had fail in 9 years, third on this car after ~35k miles. Relays went twice, temp set pot went once, this time it looks like the sensor. Fortunately didn't overheat the car. I'm building a fucking harness for this bullshit because I'm swapping new controllers in every two years.
Yep, my turn to be stumped six z31's in. Just swapped my 84 digital cluster with a dead fuel gauge for an 85 cluster and as soon as I started her up it's like the digital speed sensor went - speedo, trip odo, fuel calculator, all zero'd out and odo not moving.
Is there a pinout difference in the dashes I didn't know about or am I just unlucky and my speed sensor just picked that _exact_ moment of to pack in?
Edit: Okay comparing across FSMs they should be the same. Goddamn it. Guess I'm going in there with a multimeter.
