Seeking Restaurant Recommendations: Taormina and Syricusa/Ortegia ($$$)
Hello everyone! I am very much looking forward to my first trip to Sicily, which is coming up in September. I plan to spend a few nights each in Taormina as well as Ortgegia. Recommendations for dinners would be greatly appreciated, as opposed to only relying upon internet reviews that I am reading. I searched this sub and found only a couple of recent posts on the topic, but nothing comprehensive and nothing for Ortegia.
Given that the phrase “good meal” can be a subjective term, I thought I’d share that for my group, with dinner a nice wine list is a must, as is a comfortable dining room (two in my party have minor mobility issues). Beyond that, budget can vary greatly and I would prioritize quality of the meal over location, view, aesthetic. I also plan to have a car.
