Stop shaming people for choosing better health.

This post is in response to the comments under the previous post, where people were shaming Aparna for allegedly using weight loss medication and not ‘ coming clean’ about it.

Honestly, why are we so entitled to know how someone lost weight? This kind of prejudice is exactly why people like Amitha Jobin keep presenting their weight loss as ‘natural,’ as if using medication is somehow inferior.

I don’t know Aparna personally, but I’m pretty sure girls with hormonal conditions like PCOS can relate to how horrible it is. It causes rapid weight gain and it can be incredibly difficult to lose weight.

And if people choose to use medication for conditions like this, it can be one of the best decisions they make for their health, especially considering that obesity can lead to a wide range of medical conditions.

For once, let’s appreciate people for taking care of their bodies instead of shaming them for the way they choose to do it.

Customer calling out Alda designer.

Apparently, this lady bought a saree that did not include a blouse piece. When she asked about it, they replied saying they never claimed it came with one. A few comments calling out Alda have come up since then, but Pearl Maxy stepped in to support her friend.

Blouse not coming along with sari is not a big deal I guess but I don’t like the part where they said that it was on sale and adjust with it.

I’ve noticed this behavior among other retailers too. They’ll accuse customers of knowingly buying sale items from their shop, and then expect us to simply adjust with the poor quality.

Will post the link to the reel in the comments cos my post gets deleted when I post it along with the text.
