Canadian. Brought a rental car with me since I don’t own a car which was the biggest mistake after reading a few comments on this subreddit. This was an impromptu trip, I didn’t have a concrete plan about where I wanted to go, which I ended up giving vague answers to them (I know this was a mistake and a half). I kinda fumbled on my answers and froze in front of officers and the short visit didn’t make the situation any better (lasting less than 6 hours) to the destination. Eventually, I was let in the US after 20 minutes of interrogation, phone search and writing the address and my occupation on a piece of paper. Will I be allowed in the next time albeit longer secondary search again?

I live in Canada and I am interested in K-beauty products. Thanks to insta’s algorithm, whatever reason all I see on my instagram feeds now are influencers based in Jakarta/Bandung. I may sound like someone living under the rock, but I am quite surprised to see so many active beauty creators/influencers launching their own products and doing promotion on their platforms!
