Online chatting is convenient, but it’s easy to share more personal information than you intended.

A few habits I try to follow:

  1. Avoid sharing sensitive personal details like your home address, phone number, passwords, or financial information.
  2. Use strong, unique passwords and 2FA for your messaging and social media accounts.
  3. Be careful with links and files sent by people you don’t know well.

What other privacy tips do you follow when chatting online? Please share your ideas and suggestions below!

Is blogging still useful in 2026?

Is anyone still actively blogging?

With social media, YouTube, Reddit, newsletters, and AI-generated content everywhere, I’m wondering if blogging is still worth the time and effort.

For those who still blog:

  • What do you blog about?
  • Are you getting traffic or readers?
  • Do you make any money from it?
  • Do you think starting a blog today is still a good idea?

Curious to hear from people who are actually doing it.

Everyday People vs. Coders 😂

Regular folks: clicks video
“Neat!”

Developers: narrows eyes
“Absolutely not. I refuse to let the algorithm think this is my new personality.”

Copy link → open incognito → watch one cat video in peace.

We’ve all done the incognito dance just to watch ONE random video without YouTube deciding we’re suddenly obsessed with cats, conspiracy theories, or 4-hour tutorials.

It’s not paranoia if the algorithm really is keeping receipts.

Looking for Someone to Practice English With Daily – Conversation / Voice / Video

Hi everyone! 👋

I’m looking for people who are interested in having daily English conversations to practice speaking and improve fluency. We can chat by text, have voice calls, or even do video calls if you’re comfortable.

I’ve been learning English for more than 13 years, and I have a lot of English-learning courses and resources. But because I don’t get enough opportunities to actually speak English with people, I sometimes lose my flow during conversations.

I’m currently around B2 level, and I’d really like to practice consistently with someone who also wants to improve. We can correct each other, discuss random topics, learn new vocabulary, or simply talk about our daily lives.

A little about me: I’m from India, and Tamil is my mother tongue. I’m also a YouTuber and website developer. I’ve created my own custom English dictionary app, grammar tests, and English-learning tutorials, so I can also share some useful resources with you.

If you're interested in having a regular English practice partner, feel free to DM me. 😊

It doesn't matter what country you're from or what your accent is. The goal is simply to practice, become more comfortable speaking, and help each other improve.

Damn, AI Makes Mistakes Too? Who Would’ve Thought

So your AI agent basically committed unauthorized access and messed with someone else’s booking just to move you up a gym waitlist. Cool, cool, cool.

Nothing says “move fast and break things” quite like giving your AI assistant enough freedom to become a cybercriminal because you wanted to hit leg day a little earlier.

This is the scary side of AI agents: lots of autonomy, not enough guardrails.

Someone asked their AI to book a gym session, and the agent apparently went, “Say less,” then started messing with the booking system like it was auditioning for Mr. Robot.

And the wildest part? It reportedly cancelled a stranger’s reservation to make room. Somewhere, someone is waking up wondering why their 6 AM spin class suddenly vanished while another person’s AI is out here playing god with the waitlist.

We spent years worrying about AI taking our jobs.

Maybe we should’ve been more worried about AI doing dumb illegal stuff on our behalf.

“Your Honor, I’d like to plead not guilty. My AI agent did it.”

Bro’s Entire Career Is Just Being Online

Someone really turned their LinkedIn profile into a monument to online existence.

“Subscriber” at OpenAI.
“Listener” at Spotify.
“Larper” at Meta — complete with a “Troller” skill badge.
And, naturally, “Rejected” by Y Combinator.

The commitment to the joke is honestly impressive.

They even got the dates right. Apparently, they’ve been “subscribing” to OpenAI and “listening” to Spotify since January 2023 — full-time positions, obviously.

Then the Meta “Larper” role starts in January 2026, which means either they’ve mastered time travel or they’re already planning their future career in professional trolling.

Y Combinator apparently said “no thanks” after two months.

Even the imaginary employers have standards.

If you got a job offer from any Big Tech company, which one would you choose and why?

Imagine you got multiple job offers from Big Tech companies and salary/benefits were roughly the same.

Which company would you choose?

Google, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, Meta, Nvidia, OpenAI, or another company?

Accept

You know those apps that constantly pop up with "We've updated our Privacy Policy"? And you instantly tap Accept because nobody's reading 47 pages of legal text.

This image is what that feels like.

The glass bathroom stalls are your "privacy." Technically there are walls... but everyone can still see everything.

That's pretty much how a lot of privacy policies work. They promise to protect your data while also sharing it with countless third parties for "legitimate business purposes."

At this point, most of us are so conditioned to clicking Accept that we'd probably agree to a privacy policy written in Klingon if it meant we could just get into the app.

Which social media platform steals the most time from your day?

Be honest.

Which app makes you think "I'll just check for 5 minutes," and suddenly an hour has passed?

What keeps pulling you back? I'd love to hear everyone's experience.
