Bikepacking Thanksgiving weekend feasible?
Hi, I’m visiting the bay area this Thanksgiving week. I was thinking of bikepacking from Carmel to Pfeiffer state park, setup camp and bike unloaded to Lucia and back as a day ride (then ride back to Carmel)
But it seems like November could have some closures due to mud slides? Wondering if I should still keep my plan or pivot to somewhere else?
How sketchy is riding on hwy 1 this time of the year?
Visiting from the east coast, will bring my Trek Domane with me on 35mm gravel tires!
