Marah’s Shell is just awful
I hate this fight. It is so tedious- the game has heavily focused on parries for every boss and this feels almost antithetical to the game’s core loop.
I appreciate the spectacle ( especially the rolling blades that jump into the arena ) but the fight is such a chore. Fighting her after Quadblade — who is my favorite fight in the game so far feels like such a letdown.
You get no chance to parry ( maybe the stomp but the yellow lightning still has to be dodged) , she has a bloated health bar, and there are moments where you can’t even attack her.
It is such a slog and I hate every minute of fighting her. She isn’t difficult , just completely tedious.
Also not to mention the run back is stupid — not difficult but sometimes I get a loading screen when having to traverse between the checkpoint and the arena, why not have a checkpoint right outside ? The run back is mostly just in the dark anyway.
