I had a lot of love for the GP2X back then

was my daily driver for a few years; podcasts, movies, emulation. 2 * AA batteries that seemed to last longer than they should. here next to the Steamdeck for size (I don't eat bananas)

posted a couple of years ago to r/SteamDeck but was removed. probably a better fit here. one of the earlier Linux handhelds albeit kernel 2.x or something.

still in use today and I still haven't removed the factory screen protector lol

perhaps my oldest working ThinkPad

this ThinkPad 380Z was my daily driver while I was employed by said company during my first 12 months. CD-ROM and floppy drive still work but the memory upgrade occasionally needs to be reseated. I've still got spare batteries and a replacement set of floppy / CD-ROM drives too.

it's very thick and kinda heavy but when connected to power was happy to come back to life! still one of the best keyboards I've used.

I think the next model I received was a 390E but I may be mistaken.

we received new laptops with regularity, the last being an X220. still have each one lol.

I think the years of nicotine may have reduced UV damage

a work in progress. I'm pleasantly surprised how good this looks simply with a good clean. perhaps the years of nicotine may have created a protective layer lol

let's see how good it really looks when I'm done
