Hello friends!

I’m wondering if any of y’all have recommendations for tools that actually make it easier and quicker to guide tippet through the hook eye on smaller flies, and make it easier to tie just an improved clinch knot.

I’m about to go on a fishing trip with my dad, and as time goes on he’s finding it it a bit more frustrating and time consuming to do the whole “just get the damn fly on the line” portion of the event.

I personally use one of these to help when my hands are frozen or it’s dark, but dad tried it and wasn’t a fan. A lot of the others I’m seeing online just don’t look super useful. Wondering if y’all have found anything that helps make life easier when your hands are getting shakier and your vision ain’t what it used to be. Thanks!
