A magic wand

What wouldn’t I give to have a try at
A magic wand? Something that
Could cure aging, keep my dog here
Forever by my side, always near?

So that she won’t have to suffer any
More, she can see better, eat plenty
Of kibble, eggs, watermelon and
Go for all the walks that she can?

No need for diapers, pee pads, stop
Slippering, falling, stumbling on top
Of stairs, sleep soundly and not
Going on a forever spiral knot?

Wouldn’t that be magical? So what
Would I do if I could get a magic
Wand, ask for whatever I ever
Wanted?

Frankly, I would ask
For a
Fucking magic wand.
