Connecting my Griddle to my House Gas Supply Line (Help)

Hi, I bought a Napoleon Freestyle 36" Griddle: https://www.napoleon.com/en/ca/barbecues/products/griddles/freestyle-griddles/freestyle-36-inch-griddle-f36ftnmk

Can't seem to get their (maybe imaginary) support team on the phone after a couple weeks of calling and either being on hold for 2 hours and getting hung up on or the callback never coming in.

Basically, the BBQ came with a quick-disconnect adapter that the male end of the BBQ hose connects to. The other end of the adapter is also female and is presumably supposed to connect to my house's gas supply line. Unfortunately that supply line also has a female connector.

The house's connector has 3/4" on the side and I am assuming that is the size of whatever I am supposed to thread into it.

The BBQ hose and the quick-disconnect adapter don't seem to list a size of any kind, but the hose itself states 3/8".

Anyone know what I am supposed to do here?

I've attached pictures of each of these things.

What to do with my forgotten WD 8TB Gold Drives

So I bought 2 x WD Gold 8 TB drives back in 2021 and left them at my parents house with the plans to use them one day soon then promptly moved cities and completely forgot about them.

Now the "Gold" in WD Gold has become quite literal but I doubt they'd get much resale value because of how long it has been (I think the warranty has surely expired now).

Either way, what I'd prefer is to be able to use them in my Plex Server which is running dangerously low on storage space. The Plex Server is just a Beelink Mini PC running Ubuntu Server.

I have very little experience with NAS, Raid, Unraid, etc, so I'm wondering:

  • Are these drives good for adding to an enclosure or NAS to connect them to my Plex Server?
  • If so, which is better for my use-case: a simple enclosure or actual NAS?
  • I'm not too worried about backups/redundancy for media files I have cold storage for that, I'm more just wanting to maximize the use of these 8 TB HDDs; is Unraid the best for this?

Thanks in advance!
