Why isn't the Linn County Fair in Cedar Rapids?

Today I thought I would give the ac a break and open the windows since it the forecast predicted mid 60s and my alliant bill last month was nearly $400.

I popped home on lunch and it is somehow 79 inside and hot as all hell, although the weather app says its only 67 outside.

I'm sure theres some science behind this, but this is my first summer here dealing with the humidity.

Does anyone open the windows here? Is it even worth it? Any other tips on keeping the house cool other than constant ac?

Best recs for zone practitioner? Looking for local options but willing to travel.

Anyone know if Big Grove serves real bulogi? Or what cut they use?

Went last night and was disappointed to say the least. Was served up about 2oz of what appeared to be ground beef served on a massive mound of sushi rice that was just mush. Sauce just tasted like very sweet ketchup. The kimchi bits were ok.

I'll certainly be back in case this was just an off night, but curious of others experiences or recommendations for a good authentic bulgogi as this left much to be desired.
