We are a 30 team league on fantrax, running for 19+ years first on ESPN now fantrax. the league requires premium fantrax to run, so it does cost a few dollars per team every year.

the setup is:

- 30 teams, follow real NBA team name and conferences

- real NBA playoffs setup 4 rounds east and west, starting soon after all-star break to avoid the last tanking weeks of the season

- playing two matchups per week to ensure every other team is played at least once per year with random teams played twice

- standard 8 cats (no TO) h2h

- daily lineups, unlimited changes, lineups lock before games start

- international group of GMs

- FA bidding twice per week, using salary bids counting against salary cap (see below)

- 15 players max per team, 10 starting each night

- all year trading and activity, offseason without salary cap and roster limit to allow free trading over summer

this is an extremely deep league with 30 teams owning 15 players nearly the whole player pool of any remotely useful player is owned and traded. Waiver wire is frequently very bare.

player salaries computed after each season and updated based on last 2 year's performance in fantasy rankings.

this means you have full keeper rights to all your players but you may need to trade to be compliant with salary cap at season start if many of your players improved too much.

salary cap enforced during the season, open to trade freely during offseason with a deadline to cut down to player and cap limit before the draft on September 1st.

we are looking for five new owners taking on the Nets, clippers, rockets, thunder and hornets teams

mini-redraft: all open teams will be redrafted when all teams are filled!

we did have 7 open teams this offseason plus one voluntary team joining the redraft, meaning all players and 2026 rookie picks owned by these 8 teams are pooled and redrafted in a snake draft between all 8 teams. you can draft you own team from a quite deep pool. draft order will be randomized.

the teams are a mix of bad teams and some playoff teams. expect the redrafted teams to be unlikely to compete immediately as the talent gets distributed between 8 teams, so a building mentality is likely required - or extremely good drafting skills 😄
