BF told his mom about butt wounds, she made him strip and examined his ass herself before taking him to the doctor. Now I feel weird about our relationship and can't figure out why.

Confession:

So my boyfriend and I were on video call and he randomly goes, "Babe, I told my mom about my ass today." I was like ??? and asked what exactly he said. Apparently he told her there's been a wound on his butt for a year that hasn't healed.

For context: During intimate moments, I'd noticed 4 holes/scars above his anus. I remembered he'd told me a story from when we first started dating - he fell down a waterfall and slid all the way down, scratching his butt badly and bleeding for hours without telling his parents. So I figured the holes were from that injury, though it had been almost a year.

I told him to get it checked. Here's where it gets weird. His mom, she made him pull down his pants, she forced him to remove his underwear, spread his butt cheeks, and examined his ass herself.

Some family context: They live in a joint family with his grandpa. He has a 3-year-old little brother. His dad works in Japan (been gone 10-11 months). My BF drives his mom and brother everywhere on his scooter like they're his own kids. They lowkey know I exist because of gifts I give him and him coming home late, but I haven't been formally introduced - that was my choice, I wanted us to solidify our relationship first.

He's going to the doctor now, which is good. But I feel SO uncomfortable dating him after this and I can't pinpoint why. His dense pubic hair, his balls, his butt, everything of an adult man in-front of his mum? Is it the lack of boundaries between him and his mom? The forced examination? The family dynamics?

I don't know what exactly is making me want to distance myself, but something feels off. Really off.
