We completed the 4 mile loops of this site last weekend! Probably not crazy for a lot of yall but it was really fun to accomplish!

Henry did fantastic - probably the most spirited she’s been. I was a little concerned with the summer heat coming but most of this is in the shade so it was actually a lot better than I was fearing.

Some navigation required - chose to go under that one tree and I was laughing because Henry took “lean forward” as “okay let’s go!!!”

We didn’t like the bridge construction for one crossing but managed to find an okayish crossing point. Henry checked it out and then just went for it, minimal hesitation! You can tell I’m not a very confident rider but I’m a bit of a doom and gloom worst case scenario anxiety type. I think we are the point where I need to trust HER and that’s definitely a change.

We’ve trotted in the open field section but first time for the woods! We are working on consistent speed in general and not just bring a rocket pony that go go go goes haha

Anyway sorry for the ramble but just some fun clips 🥰 I just am really obsessed with this little pony and having the best time with her and I’m just so happy and everything nice. I could never imagine life could be this way!! 💕

She has become so fun on the trails! From a mosey and unsure to just booking it and going full send. Rocket pony! 💕

It’s interesting with leading too - she will absolutely want to lead sometimes but other times she’ll drop back. We joke that’s her ”turn off brain” break. I also suspect she is starting to understand spider webs and wants the dumb boy (my sisters pony) to be the sacrifice.

Thought this was a fun thing to film but watching it back it gives me motion sickness oops hahaha

I’ll get nicer pictures some other time but the fanny pack WAS a success as a saddle bag!!

Henry carries my snacks and I carry hers - I have a sport crossbody coming next week I will try for myself as well. Fanny pack is probably a bit too big for my bag, but the saddle bag it works perfect!

Excuse her expression. I had the audacity to start eating my uncrustable and not offer her a bite 🙄

I promise I won’t spam everytime we go out but I’m just so tickled it works! Also everyone tell me she DOESNT need a trippy check even though it’s absolutely her vibe 😩

I was absolutely tickled when I pulled this out during inventory. Fantastic condition, size and material of a postcard, and the back does have her check out dates.

Unfortunately this is a rather large donation so I’m trying to get through inventorying before diving into research. But I am very excited!

Baby baggu in tangerine stripes - my lunch bag!

Bangs weren’t banging today but Baggu is always banging 🥰

Must have felt like a good morning! I thought the little line was so cute. Henry is the smallest but seems to always be in the lead. And then there’s giant baby at the rear who looks like she can’t quite figure out her legs still haha. Plus a Lazlo! 💕

We have finally been able to consistently hit the trails and I wanted a saddle bag for a few small things…

What an excuse to get some new Baggu! 🥰

The fanny pack is seriously perfect. I’m able to wrap it under the billets and around itself so no cutting or clipping necessary. And it holds so much! Unfortunately the length of my narrow mouth water bottle doesn’t fit but there’s still room in the pouch.

I actually asked a little bit ago about color matching my water bottle and I went with mahogany since I found a cheap one. I think it works well! Unfortunately that does mean I need to buy a red/pinkish saddle pad oh how horrible!!

I’ve been scouring about for USSSSSED packs and was able to (irresponsibly) snag a few more colors.

My word for the year is whimsy and this is a PERFECT way to accomplish that word.

She turned 28! Her previous birthday was in the middle of a very rough health situation so last year was sweet and this year is even sweeter 💕 thankful for the 21 years together - she’s taught me and others SO much. I definitely let her just do whatever she wants but at this point she’s earned it haha

Got the brown for a neutral with all my fun pouches but not sure it’s the right shade for me. I snagged a lavender off depop that’s in the mail so maybe that’s more my “neutral”, haha!

At least my ECB is cheery ☀️
