This was my *first attempt at Nguyen Hung Cuong’s Eagle. I gave up with my original attempt because the crease pattern was messed up and the collapse on step 58 went horribly. Looking around the internet and the subreddit, his design was the one that caught my eye the most. I gave up thinning up the legs and used a little creative liberty and gave it a larger tail. Overall still very proud of it and I might reattempt this model with a larger sheet of paper.

Blakiston’s Fish Owl, designed by Kyohei Katsuta, folded by me. I used 45 x 45cm double tissue paper treated with MC. This is my first attempt at this model after folding the owl by Kazuki Fukuroi, which is a jump in difficulty. The last picture has a comparison of both of the models. I am deciding on whether to repeat this model, or to move on to the eagle by Nguyen Hung Cuoung.

I used 35x35cm double tissue paper to fold this model. I originally was using “washi,” which is traditional hand-made paper, but it was too difficult. As a bird (specifically raptor) lover and hopefully someone pursuing ornithology and vet school 🤞, I am very proud of the finished product.

Hello, I hope I could potentially get some answers for a new behavior my dog got recently. It started on Friday, where she insisted on getting picked up everywhere we went. Her usual behavior is quite energetic and playful with her older sister. What confuses us is that she is completely fine outside on the roads and grass but the moment we get home she refuses to touch the ground. Something I will bring up is that recently she had a severe allergic reaction to an Advantix application (first try for that brand). When we brought her to the vet, vitals were within normal limits and she was put on pain medication, and injection and oral to be used later. Another recent event was my parents (primary owners) were out of town and the two dogs were under my care until Wednesday night. During that time, her behavior was completely normal. My dad is trimming the hair around her paws to see if the reason is due to slipping on wood flooring. I have put a video down below to record her behavior. The initial behavior was asking to be picked up, and then I jumping right onto the couch. Any advice or diagnosis will be greatly appreciated
