Sink mould issue
Hi all, recently got our bathroom renovated and overall it looks good, but there are a couple of things that have come up that we didn't forsee, particularly in relation to our sink.
Firstly, the area underneath the built in plug builds up mould very quickly. I expect it's probably a flawed design that doesn't allow airflow and therefore doesn't actually dry out, leading to mould. Aside from removing the plug, does anyone have any ideas of how to address this?
Secondly, my wife has noticed that the material the basin is made of appears to be somewhat porous, and potentially prone to staining. Can we coat it with anything to prevent this happening?
Finally, the mixer tap is on the wall behind the basin, and the soap is off to the side, often leading to water dripping down behind the basin when we wash our hands and the water ends up pooling. Any ideas of how to mitigate this?
Thanks
