SSS Maerwald
Ok how do I approach this? Even just fighting one of these Maerwalds would be dangerous, but there's three of them plus a bunch of soul mirrors.
Veteran, level 20, all scaling on, if that matters.

I'm in a situation where in the little diagram in the center that shows the ship positions the enemy ship is on my right side facing its bow directly at my side. It's shooting some sort of flamethrower weapon at me from this position. What moves do I make to get alongside it so I can shoot my cannons without missing?
Is there a reliable way to get this stuff? It seems like most enchanting recipes need it. The wiki says Una and Dimesa sell it "occasionally" and the times I've seen it in stock they don't sell much.
Alright I don't really understand what is going on with this quest. I didn't choose any "dark" dialogues with her. We talked about releasing the souls and she seemed really excited and determined to do that. So then we go to the adra pillar and shit goes totally sideways. She embraces the "dark" side despite all the prior dialogue in the quest. Is "dark" just the default for her quest ending and "light" is a secret ending that's hard to get?
What kind of builds benefit from this style? In what scenarios is it better than two weapon style?
I found POE1 to be a breeze on hard difficulty. Playing POE2 now on Veteran and this seems noticeably more difficult. At the digsite on the first island now and there's this encounter with some drakes that seems ridiculous. I sneaked past it to get to the underground area. Idk if this is the intended way to deal with that encounter.
Idk if I'm doing something wrong or this game is just more difficult than POE1. My party is psyblade Watcher, swashbuckler Eder, and priest Xoti.
Soul Annihilation is a primary attack which uses only the main hand weapon. Does this mean that two-handers are better for Soul Blades? Would dual wielding be a noticeable damage loss?
I think we're gonna have to kill these guys.
Seriously I'd like to lead the invasion.
The ones that stand out to me are Tidefall, Blade of the Endless Paths, and Abydon's Hammer. This is not counting summoned weapons like Firebrand and Spirit Lance.
The Hammer is really good against vessels but can't be Durganized, so it's probably not the overall best. Tidefall gets Wounding and BotEP gets Speed. Tidefall can reach Legendary and also get an elemental lash. BotEP doesn't seem to have enough points leftover after Legendary to get a lash.
Who is a good candidate for this armor? I put it on my dual wielding fighter but the frenzy barely ever procs, presumably because she has high deflection. This is on Hard difficulty if it matters.
I downloaded Eye of the Beholder from the Community tab and when I go to make a new character the face textures from Beamdog's HD Art Pack - With Community Fixes are all screwed up, like the texture is not wrapped around the mesh correctly if that makes sense. I'm using Tjured's HD Pack Head Adjustments as well, but I tested without it and the problem still shows up. This doesn't happen with any official module, other community modules, premium modules, or modules downloaded from the Neverwinter Vault. It's only this module.
If anyone knows why this is happening or how to fix it I would appreciate it.
A lot of encounters in modules are some variation of melee enemies in a cave immediately rush towards you and start attacking. That's fine for melee characters and mages have ways of dealing with anything. It's terrible for archers though. So how do you approach playing as an archer? Is it feasible to solo like this or is a melee companion required?
Playing Tyrants of the Moonsea now and found full plate with the quality "Spell School Immunity: Illusion" on it. From the wiki it says "Spell immunity grants complete protection from specified spells." I'm not entirely sure how this works with some illusions spells though. I seem to be able to cast Invisibility on myself and still be affected by it normally. Will I be able to see through opponents' invisibility without True Seeing?
Alright so what is going on with the zombie green dragon in Siege of Shadowdale? This thing has a ton of hit points and spell resistance. With a fighter/cleric in full plate, tower shield, ring of protection, divine favor, mage armor, barkskin, clarity, potion of heroism, and necklace of acid resistance I couldn't beat this thing. Then I realized it can't leave the stone circle so I used a bow and shot it while it stood there. Took 40 arrows.
Is there some other way that you're supposed to kill this thing that I just missed? Is this supposed to be a joke encounter? I doubt this is the intended way to do this.
From what I understand the Discipline skill is mainly used to prevent Knockdown. Do any enemy NPCs or creatures actually use Knockdown though? Is this skill actually worth investing in?
