Plant Identification

Hi! I’ve google image searched this a couple times. Closeup images says:

botanically it is a valuable native wildflower called Partridge Pea (Chamaecrista fasciculata).”

Anyone know if this is a weed or indeed a native wildflower? I think they’re pretty and I’d keep them as long as they’re not invasive or weeds.

Bobo asked me to pass this message along to Beans through you.

Hey Beans!

Okay, first of all, bummer. Not you, just… the situation. We barely got started, and now we don’t get more time together? That feels like when you find the perfect stick and then immediately lose it.

I keep thinking about how we didn’t even get to properly hang out. No yard time. No couch snuggles. No real chance to determine important things, like: would we have become best friends, or just respectfully sniffed and gone our separate ways? These are big unanswered questions.

We didn’t get enough time to play or figure each other out. I told my mom I’m pretty bummed, which she seemed to understand. She also said that what matters most is that you and your dad are happy, which, fine … yes… agreed. Very mature. Still… I’ll probably miss your vibe for a bit. You had a good one.

A bubble popped too soon, before it could be fully enjoyed and appreciated.

Do you chase bubbles? I do. Huge fan. 10/10 activity. You should absolutely try it if you haven’t… feels like something we could’ve been great at together, honestly.

Anyway, I gotta go! There’s a squirrel outside, and this is now my entire focus and purpose. Wish me luck.
