The songs lyrics carry a different meaning almost 30 years later. The “world” seeing me, is all my followers… all the likes I have gained throughout the years and the subtle reputation i’ve built.

I feel the need to uphold my social media narrative and obtain a partner who aligns with my story.

But F**k the world. I want what’s best for me. How do I let go of that narrative and not care what others think so much??
