🎉 Release Day: Wishbound is Live!

Today, Dusty Grant and DJ officially step out into the world.

Wishbound began with a simple question: what happens when a man finds a genie lamp—and decides the woman inside is not a reward, not a tool, and not his property?

From there came West Texas mine tunnels, old archaeological scars, bad coffee, impossible magic, a blue-skinned djinn with far too much enthusiasm for modern life, and the first sparks of what will become the Magical Alliance of Concerned Kin.

>Retired archaeologist Dusty Grant has spent his life uncovering artifacts that shouldn’t exist. After a cave-in in the West Texas desert leaves him holding an impossible brass lamp, he discovers that some legends are real—and some of them are very interested in him.

The lamp’s djinn, DJ, offers three wishes. Dusty uses the first two to survive. While he and DJ try to figure out what comes next, they’re visited by Anya Oyoke, an oni agent from the Wish Allocation Regulation Division of the Bureau of Mundane-Fae Relations. Anya arrives to investigate the unauthorized wish activity, but her interest in Dusty—and her attraction to both him and DJ—quickly complicates matters.

Undeterred, Dusty makes a choice no previous holder has dared: he wishes for DJ’s freedom.

That decision puts all three of them on the wrong side of a hidden magical bureaucracy determined to catalog, bind, and control every supernatural being it can find. Now Dusty, DJ, and Anya must navigate ancient powers, dangerous artifacts, magical regulations, and supernatural allies who have learned to hide in plain sight.
