Migraines secondary to TMJ denied

Migraines secondary to TMJ denied

I'm now requesting a second nexus letter that states a baseline of 1 migraine per year or less prior to TMJ/bruxism. I'm also requesting that my Dr. Includes medical literature that shows a link between migraines and TMJ/bruxism. Any other suggestions or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Getting anxious waiting for this one

This is my final appeal for migraines, based on the information, migraine log, and nexus letter i should qualify for 50% had a records review done last week now it's been sitting in preparation for decision for 4 days. I know that's not long but still anxious about it.

No C&P

I had requested a new C&P for my appeal for sleep apnea secondary to ptsd but it's in decision phase without a C&P exam completed.

Thinking about filing an increase for ptsd

Thinking about an increase i saw this on an older post, figured I'd answer the questions and see what the general populous thought... I am currently 70% for PTSD, Bipolar II, and MDD and 50% TMJ... total 85% = 90% with va math

Do you have a daily habit of thoughts self-injury or harming others? Self 3 times a week so not daily

Do you go days or weeks without bathing or showering? Gross but yes... I hate answering that question... it can be up to 2 weeks without

Do you manage to pay your bills on time? Sometimes

Are you currently emploved or self-emploved? I'm employed, long term disability once, short term disability now, intermittent absences using fmla 2-3 days of the week when not on full disability leave...

Va claim 1 approval 1 deferred

I'm very surprised with my approval rating for TMJ with bruxism. I received 50% which is the highest possible rating. The constant pain and limited food i can eat sucks.... I'm still waiting on migraines which was deferred, I'm hopeful it will be approved as tmj does cause and aggravate migraines.

I'm also waiting to see results on my sleep apnea appeal. My VSO said it looks like they're going the "aggravated by ptsd" route as it's difficult to wear my mask and I end up removing it while im sleeping. My psychiatrist was finally willing to write a nexus for it as well.

Sleep apnea denied

Sleep apnea was denied as secondary to ptsd bipolar I Thev didn't have me do an exam and state don't have sleep apnea even though the letter also stated I am diagnosed with it. To me it appears I may be missinc nformation thev want, but I feel I also should have gone to a c&p exam which didn't happen. I'm looking to ask m) doctor for a nexus letter and provide research on how otsd and bipolar II cause and or aggravate sleep apnea.. less

Ptsd

I'm currently rated at 70% for ptsd, major depressive disorder, anxiety, and bipolar II. My therapist told me I should put in for an increase, I'm unsure if I should try and am nervous about trying... does anyone have any advice?
