Which exam is more difficult: CIPP/US or AIGP?

For those who hold both certs, which exam did you find most difficult?

I obtained my CIPP/US last year, and I’m planning to take the AIGP by the end of this year. I’m trying to gauge how difficult the AIGP is in relation to the CIPP/US, and determine whether I’ll need to set aside a lot more (or less) time to prepare for it.

TIA!

Barbri Free MPRE Review Course - Is this sufficient to pass?

I’m taking the MPRE in a little over a week. I took and passed my Professional Responsibility course just last semester (although I need to brush up on the material).

I’ve recently enrolled in Barbri’s free online MPRE review course. I’m planning to just watch all the videos/modules, take notes, and study those notes.

For those who passed the MPRE and also used this resource, would you consider it sufficient enough to pass the MPRE?

Thanks in advance!

Spouse’s Family is Shallow and Judgmental About Appearances

I’ve been dreading visiting my in laws and any of my husband’s relatives. I’ve gained some weight since I first met them a few years ago, and the last time I saw them, they began asking my husband if I was pregnant because of how I looked.

It was very triggering and embarrassing for me, and ever since I heard about it, I really just want to avoid seeing them… but obviously that’s hard because I want my husband to continue seeing his family, and I imagine it would be hard on him if I would repeatedly tell him I’m not joining him to visit them.

It’s been over a year since then, and I decided to join my husband to visit his family this weekend because it’s been a long while. I was feeling good about it, hoping that my change in appearance wouldn’t come up in conversation at all, at least not in front of me.

Well, within 30 min of us getting there, his dad decides to FaceTime his grandpa (who lives in another state) just to say hi to both of us. When his grandpa gets on the phone, he sees me and says “oh i didn’t recognize you, i thought you were so-and-so.” He was referring to the girlfriend of one of my husband’s relatives, who happens to have a larger body/figure. Apart from her figure, her appearance is in all other ways “conventionally acceptable” by society’s standards.

I have no issue with the fact that he mistook me for her, but I have an issue with how everyone responded. Immediately after his grandpa says that, everyone immediately started acting awkward and defensive, saying comments like, “no you don’t look like her! He can’t see well! maybe it’s because you have the same hairstyle as her” etc.

I responded by saying, “oh, so-and-so seems really cute!” Because I wanted to try to say something positive, and brush it off.

And they just kept doubling down saying things like, “no she’s not” “don’t worry, you definitely don’t look like her!” “Grandpa is losing his sight” etc.

It’s like they were trying really hard to convince me I didn’t look like another woman who happens to have a plus size body, because I guess that would be such a terrible thing in their minds. I’d like to add that nearly all of them are on compounded GLPs, and always talk up losing weight and getting skinnier.

….I honestly have no issue if his grandpa genuinely thought I was her. But everyone’s response makes me feel like they’re very shallow and judgmental about appearances. And because I know I have gained significantly more weight since that last time I saw them, I feel they were making these defensive comments because they thought they were doing me some kind of favor, trying not make me feel like I’ve gained weight (even though I know I have).

In short, I’m feeling very judged, embarrassed, and insecure. I pretended to have a headache and went to bed early and cried. I want to go home, but I’m stuck here for the weekend. I hate how shallow and judgmental they are, and I hate how it makes me never want to see them again because that obviously makes things harder for my husband, especially for holidays or other family gatherings.

Titrate back down from 3.5mg to 2.5mg?

I’ve been on 2.5mg for my first five weeks, and I’m thinking of increasing slightly to 3.5mg today for my sixth shot.

I have been losing on 2.5mg, although in the last two weeks the food suppression hasn’t been as effective, so I want to try a slight increase to 3.5mg.

If I try 3.5mg today, will I be able to still experience decent food suppression if I decided to titrate back down to 2.5mg in the future? In other words, will increasing to 3.5mg increase my baseline tolerance and render the 2.5mg ineffective or less effective than it was before?

This would be my first time increasing, so I’m still learning how this works 🙂

Split Dosing for Starter Dose (2.5mg)?

I’m on the second week of my starter dose, 2.5. I feel the food noise suppression for several days, but it begins to taper off and I’m tempted to overeat the day or two of my next shot.

I’m considering split dosing at this starting dose, Sunday nights and Wednesday nights, to hopefully keep the food noise suppression consistent through the whole week.

I hope it will allow me to stay on 2.5 for longer without having to titrate up, since I feel the effects on this dose.

Had anyone split dose at the starting dose? How was your experience?

Note: I’m consulting my medical provider, as well. Just thought it would be helpful to hear others’ thoughts

Poking for the first time today! Question about injection instructions

I just received my first 3-month supply of non-additive tirzepatide from Apothecary through Fifty410. It is a single vial, and the label instructions provide the following: Inject 2.25mg (13 units) for the first four weeks, then 4.5mg (25 units) for the next four weeks, then 6.75mg (38 units) once weekly.

Do these instructions seem correct/safe? I’ve heard people say to avoid increasing your dosage quickly, and to keep it low & slow.

Did anyone else follow similar injection instructions when starting out? If so, how was your experience?

For reference I’m 31F, height: 5’3”, SW: 170, CW: 170, GW: 135.
