I’ve been working on a concept project built around a post apocalyptic world, and this is one of the tracks from it. The whole idea is less about traditional structure and more about atmosphere, story, and feeling. I was aiming for something that feels like late night headphone music, where it’s more about the mood and the details than just hooks. Influence wise, I’m into artists like MF DOOM and Aesop Rock, so I leaned into abstract lyrics and layered meaning instead of keeping it straightforward. I’m mainly trying to improve, so I’d honestly rather hear what doesn’t work than just “this is good.” Things I’m especially curious about: Does the atmosphere actually pull you in or does it feel flat Do the vocals sit right in the mix Does it feel too abstract or still engaging I’ll drop the track in the comments if anyone wants to check it out.
