This track has been on my harddrive for ages so I decided to finally finish it and publish. The first version was full of long winding guitar solos and went on for ages. I decided to compress it into a 3:40 minute track to make the individual variations shine more.

I really tried to keep the polish down. Not in the mix nescessarily but I did refrain from editing the raw recordings too much to kind of keep a realistic vibe all around the track.

I'm really curious for feedback because I'd like to continue down this road and evolve while still releasing track by track.

Thanks!

Ridgewell - Is this any good?

Hi everyone. I've been making music for a good while, but for this latest project I feel like I am really making some good stuff. Of course, I would, wouldn't I. People close to me also say it's good, but they also would, wouldn't they. So I thought I could get some honest feedback from people who don't know me or care about my feelings. Be brutal and honest please.

Electronic, some people say my music sounds like video game music so I've kinda accepted that lol. I feel like I can do a lot more with this instrumental, lmk what sounds outta place or whatever

Before my first album came out, I posted one of my tracks here and received the nicest comments I've ever gotten. Your feedback meant a lot to me. Today I released my album on SoundCloud. If you're into experimental music like this, I recommend checking it out.

What do you feel listening to this?

Few weeks into producing, cooked this up tonight. Was wondering if anyone can tell me how they feel listening to this and anything they’d change to make this beat better

Instrumental track

Really starting to dig into instrumental tracks with a focus on sampling. Love to hear what folks think of the mix with a focus on the tension and ultimate resolve.

Made a track inspired by Porter Robinson’s Worlds – would love some feedback

I’m working on a track that’s heavily inspired by Porter Robinson’s Worlds, and I’d love to get some feedback.

So far, I’ve only really worked on the drop—the rest of the track is still very much a work in progress. I’m mainly looking for feedback on the mix during the drop, as well as any suggestions for how I could improve it.

Flicker is probably my favorite track from Worlds, so that was definitely a big influence. Also, if you know of any songs or artists with a similar vibe (besides Porter Robinson), I’d really appreciate some recommendations!
