Really thrilled to finally join the club with a medieval woodcut-inspired tattoo done just yesterday!

It refers to Halley’s Comet appearing very close to Earth in 1066. The sketch is a combination of motifs from later engravings of different periods brought together by the artist.

The lines are all squiggly on request so that they look more like a woodcut print after healing.

What do you guys think?

Knew there was some restricted training area nearby. The forest road looked like a tank track to me: absolutely destroyed but strangely scenic. Had to turn back after a warning sign. Also funny because we hadn't had any rain in 2 weeks +, but this is flooded.

I recently bought my first roadbike and struggling a bit with the bar tape. The one that went with the bike is really bad imho. I suppose at first I wrapped the bar too loose (it looked and felt well snug for me though) and like 100 kms later the layers shifted so I unwrapped it, wrapped it more tight and now after another 100 they moved again and tore in one place. It even has the rubbery anti slip stuff!

So I thought I have to get a leather tape for durability. Calvin Jones used one and I liked how it looks and I like that it is a real leather. Here is a link to that video. I wasn't able to find it anywhere though. Closest I got was Brooks Microfiber Honey. It says "leather tape" on it but microfiber it is lol.

Do you guys have any natural leather tape options?

I asked a local tanner and he told me it would be $50 a piece an that's way above what I intended to pay.
