Went to a big thrifting event today...

I found Maiden Japan and the Can I Play With Madness single! I also found refuge denied's first pressing for those who also like sanctuary lol, along with a slayer single for Repentless which is neat! I paid 40 bucks for all three big vinyls which i think is a decent deal; either way I'm happy and they're getting played! The vendor I found had some other cool first pressing maiden albums but my wallet can only handle so much lol.

Oil pressure gauge sticking high on startup?

2000 3.9 v6 with 253k miles on it. From my understanding my oil pressure should read about in the 40ish range upon startup and idle. Mine is at like 65 but ive noticed that if I drive it around eventually it will come down to that 40ish range at idle when stopped but it takes a while of driving and it doesnt do it at the first stop I make. Im not sure if its my gauge sensor or my engine warming up. I changed my oil a month ago with valvoline high mileage 10-30 and a wix filter but that's the right oil type and its a normal 70 degrees around here currently. Anyone else dealt with something similar?

Whats the best way to go about welding this strength wise? The cracks are hairline so im thinking drill the ends out then fill them in and maybe get some plate and brace the problem areas. I am going to be dropping a bigger motor (kx250) in it so am just looking for advice as these frames are known to crack under intense forces.
