Less shifts

hey guys, was hoping i could get some advice? i’ve been working at KFC for months now. i have pretty good availability, i can work all of the week through til wednesday, and then thursdays and friday’s i can only do nights. they seem to be giving me less and less shifts or hours. i was previously getting 2 8 hour shifts (and more) beforehand. i don’t know if the managers don’t like me or i did something but I seem to have pissed them off maybe? I’m pretty awkward and maybe it’s taken as rude. unsure .
i don’t know if you can just ask for more hours or something. if anyone has advice who’s worked at kfc could tell me if I should do something and act a certain way?. i don’t want to quit. it’s a good job most of the time and great while im studying and such.
idk what kfc managers look for and at in their employees and who they give more shifts. if i have to act a certain way and be a robot i will but just would love advice. id like to avoid having a second job if i can.
thanks guys!

I don’t think I’ll ever recover

Perhaps this post is a bit much but-
I’ve been feeling like I’m constantly getting signs. I think part of me is looking for it so maybe that’s a reason, but it’s definitely something that makes my day and hurts all at the same time. The signs come from anywhere, even at work as you can see in the photo lol.
It doesn’t feel any easier than the day it happened and I don’t know what to do.
I miss him so much more than I ever thought I would
I’ve literally listened to his music every day since he passed, (although I already did when he was still here hence why he’s my top artist).
Grieving is not easy, and so much judgement seems to come from people who don’t understand and it often comes across as ‘cringe’ to others. He was so easy to relate to on a personal level and connect to, especially because of his big heart, talent, humour and intelligence.
I will always have so much love for him and his art.
I can’t even imagine how his family is feeling. I hope everyone is doing okay, especially those who knew him personally.

We miss you Oliver❤️

Happy Birthday Oliver 🫰

i’m going to insert a few pictures but i’ll talk about it all too.
oliver would’ve been 33 today as we all know and i’m so heartbroken. to celebrate his birthday i made a cake for him, wrote a letter and had a few drinks. i hope he’s having the time of his life up there.
the cake wasn’t perfect but i feel like that was in true oliver tree style. “ugly is beautiful” yk?
it took me a while and i decorated it to my liking. i played his music the whole time and sung my heart out.
i feel a little silly because I’m now an adult and maybe it comes across as immature but he has been a safe place for me for many years now as well as his music, videos and clips, and just him and his community.
there is so many people out there who love him and i love that we can connect over it. being able to find that comfort in it all is something truly special. i know that he’s gone and i am trying to pretend like i’m okay or that i’ve fully accepted it when that’s not true, but i am glad that he lived all his life to the fullest and got to do so much while he was still here. it’s good to think about what did happen rather than what could’ve happened.
im thinking of getting a tattoo about him soon. im just trying to find what to get if anyone has ideas❤️
i encourage you guys to do something for his birthday! even something small like playing a song. i miss him more than anything and as my number one artist he definitely deserves a cake.
i hope he knew how loved he was. i will miss him every day 🫰

Oliver Trees Birthday

tomorrow is oliver’s birthday here in australia. i’m truly grieving such a loss but i am curious if anyone has any ideas of how i can pay my respects and celebrate his life. now that i can’t go to his brisbane concert and i don’t think anyone’s doing anything up here for his birthday, id just love to do something to honour him. ive been such a huge fan for so long and his music is absolutely everything to me. i find comfort in him in general like his videos with others, clips, all of it. he was a huge part of my life and got me through so much. made me feel less unimportant and out of place.
does anyone have any ideas of something i should do? i’m going to wear my oliver tree socks to work but i want to do something after work to honour him. food, art, karaoke, beach, literally anything. if it’s something big i can do it later this week.
any ideas? i think it’d be great to have something to do while we grieve and honour him on his birthday. finding comfort in our own personal time to honour him and give us closure. doing stuff by ourselves or in small groups instead of dragging down his close friends, family and lover.
would love to hear what you guys are doing too :)
happy almost birthday oli❤️🌲
