Wedding question

Hi, just looking for a general advice from a DJs perspective. My wedding is next month. We have been working on preparing different playlists for cocktail hour, during dinner, after dinner, late night, etc..

We don’t necessarily want to tell the DJ to only stick to what our playlists, but we are pretty particular about knowing what we like/want in terms of music. Mostly well known classics and hits. From your perspective is it annoying to be told to just stick to the playlist or should we give the DJ freedom to kind of mix their own thing in here and there? We have heard stories about DJ’s kind of doing their own thing and it not being what people wanted. We’ve also heard of people giving “don’t play” lists, which ended up getting played anyway.

Edit: you don’t know what you don’t know. I appreciate the help, we are planning to talk with our DJ again. To be fair to the DJ he did have us fill out a form and did a phone call. We were the ones who were a little stubborn about using our playlist. After your recommendations, we will try to narrow it down to a few must play songs during each period of the wedding and let him handle the rest.

Roth Options

My 403b is 88% VOO and 12% VXUS.

Trying to figure out what to do with my Roth to be a little more aggressive. I’m 29. Currently holding VT.

Looking at QQQ, VUG, VGT. Any advice or favorites appreciated. I come from Bogleheads where it’s all VT and chill, so not much else discussed.

This would be my main holding in my Roth with a small amount of DRAM and NASA for the ride.

Hi all,

For background, I am a licensed physical therapist currently working in home health. I see firsthand the difficulty that patients and families deal with when it comes to helping our loved ones age in place. On top of that, our healthcare system is completely reactive lacking proactive measures when it comes to preventing hospitalizations, falls, injuries, and rehab stays.

Leading me to this, I have interest in performing home safety assessments which includes: Balance and gait screening, Transfer assessments, Home/environment modifications, Assistive device and equipment recommendations, Caregiver education, and overall strength and mobility assessment.

This goes beyond just a standard PT evaluation which almost always comes after an event. This is to identify functional decline early.

Is this something you would pay for?
