New Location for May 24th @ 1:00PM Lafayette Redditors Meetup (21+)

I originally scheduled a meetup at Magoo's, turns out they will be closed because it's Memorial Day weekend. We'll instead meetup at People's Brewing Company 2006 N 9th St in Lafayette, IN at 1:00PM (same time).

Please comment if you plan on coming or at the very least are interested in coming and don't know if you can make it.

And I know it isn't an ideal time but this won't be the only one. It won't necessarily be a bad thing for the turn out to be small as this first meeting might be handy to workshop ideas on what a regular meetup would look like, what the name should be, etc. so having even just 2-3 people to chat with will be beneficial.

Meetup at Magoo's on May 24th @ 1PM

If you mark that you're definitely attending feel free to shoot a DM and introduce yourself.

The address: 1802 Schuyler Ave, Lafayette, IN 47904

Time: 1PM Sunday May 24th

Magoo's is a 21+ non-smoking pizza place on the North end of Lafayette. Basically take 18th St all the way north. Parking is on the other side of the street (shares a lot with Lefty's). I'm thinking we sit on the patio.

I might also try a late evening weekday at some point since that was the second most popular selection but figured this would be a good start.

Lots of adults looking for friendship: let's schedule a meetup

So there are frequent posts of people asking for ideas on how to meet people especially those outside of college age. I think having a regular meetup (perhaps monthly) might be something people would find beneficial. I think ideally I'd want to make it 21+. More venues available/ the focus would be on those outside of college (but not to say those in college aren't welcome).

If you want to provide suggestions on times and/or venues in the comments I'd love to hear them.
