For those out of the loop, the unofficial fantasy football game for the WSL has ceased to be and in its place is an offical league created game.

The game is accessible through the league's website or app, is free to play, but requires registration.

A game league has been created for the sub. You do not need to be subscribed to the sub to join the league.

We're going back to custom designs with the 26/27 ball

There was post on r/WomensSoccer back in May about last season's ball and how it was practically off the shelf. That wasn't typical for the league. I theorised that the rebrand might have gotten in the way of providing a custom design. Whether correct or not, the custom designs are back.

The ball is the Nike Control. It doesn't look like the Academy version, as issued in the past.

I'm sure Nike will do a proper reveal at some point, but I spotted the ball early in our training photos, so I thought I'd share. It seems not everyone has their delivery yet as some are training with last season's ball still.

The F-Bundesliga is switching to Nike now and will also use this ball - but they have the shelf design with the league logo slapped on, which is how it was for the WSL last season.

Not sure what to think about the battery in my newly bought refurbished laptop

My refurbished HP Elitebook 845 8th Gen arrived yesterday. Other than a few minor scuffs on the lid, this thing looks untouched.

It was bought from CeX in the UK, who do not provide battery reports if buying online. CeX do not accept laptops without batteries, and neither do they replace batteries prior to selling on, they check only that a charge is possible and holds.

I generated a powercfg /batteryreport as soon as I had the machine up and running - original capacity 53,015 mWh / 82% remaining / 6 cycles. To me, that is both too few cycles for second-hand and too much degradation for so few cycles.

The report had no usage data prior to 5 June, which is the day before I purchased. The first and only recorded charge prior to me receiving the laptop is 99%. That same charge lasted me the best part of 12 hours though yesterday.

The battery is not original and neither is it genuine HP.

I do not know how long passed between the laptop being traded in to the store and me buying it, and I've since forgotten which store it came out of so can't call to ask for its backstory.

I have 14 days to decide if I want to keep this laptop. Only the battery is giving me pause. I expect to be able to use AC power for the most part anyway, but should I still be wary of the reported degradation and cycles or is it possible there is a fine enough explanation for these numbers?
