Where do I begin? Just found out I am severely allergic to Nickel

Hi! I have been having skin issue, mostly on my face and back and after a lot of testing, I found out I am allergic to nickel. I got the patch testing done and BOY did my back FREAK out.

I don't know if this is causing my cystic like issues on my face. I am 32 and have tried everything for my skin, eventually making me think it has to be some sort of allergy issue. If I touch nickel and then touch my face would that cause issues? I don't get rashes on my hands though, is this because the hands are tougher skin?

Just wondering where to even begin and how wild I have to go with eliminating Nickel. Like is my stainless steel fridge a problem or my cookware since I see that contains a small amount of Nickel? Where do I begin?! Send help!

Seeking clarity on my test results - Just seeking advice :)

I got this testing done by my primary care doctor because I have been having severe constant headaches, extreme fatigue, and skin issues. My results came back as shown in the image. Then from these results they automatically did some connective tissue disease antibody testing and it looks like all those were negative (I will post those results as well). She also tested for a C-Reactive protein and that level was normal.

My concern is the ANA Titer result of 1:320. What could this possibly mean and what other tests if any should I push for? I have learned I have had to be my own advocate with a lot of health issues.

Thank you! Just seeking advice with understanding these.

Looking for advice on Lower Body Lift with fat transfer to butt

Hi! I had gastric bypass surgery in 2023 and lost 160 pounds from my highest weight. My highest weight was 306 and I have been around 145 for a couple years now. I will attach photos below! I got a tummy tuck in 2024 and these WERE my original plastic surgery plans.

Stage one - Tummy tuck and breast lift
Stage two - Posterior Tummy tuck or a butt lift as some call it
Final stage - Extended thigh lift.

I was happy with the results of my tummy tuck and thought my plastic surgeon did a good job…. Until I started going to consults for my second stage of surgery. I had consults with many well known top surgeons and literally every one was like you can’t just do the posterior lift, you need a lower body lift (or a 360 tummy tuck as some call it). The reasoning for this was to lift up my sides and back they would have to cut into the front pretty much the whole way to make it look cohesive. Multiple surgeons said my tummy tuck scar was too high also.

Soooooo after MANY consults, I decided to go with a plastic surgeon in Alabama Dr. Stephen Gunn who just had amazing results and I liked him a lot, so I am traveling there from Michigan in September for a lower body lift with fat transfer to buttocks. I was nervous about the fat transfer part, but this is something he does all the time and due to my weight loss he really suggested it. I don’t want a big butt by any means, but I also don’t want to be in pain when I sit from having absolutely nothing there!

My husband will be traveling with me and we will be staying for 10 days. If anyone has any tips for recovery or how I can sleep in a bed, I would greatly appreciate it. I wish I could do my thighs this surgery too, but that would be wayyyy too much at one time. We rented an Airbnb and I will not have a recliner. 😢 We are flying there and flying back.

I really wanted to post this for other massive weight loss patients to highly suggest doing the lower body lift to begin with and not just a tummy tuck. You don’t want to pretty much have to redo part of it like I am! I am not sure if he will cut the full 360 degrees around, I was told I at least need 270 degrees and then at that point he was like well we might as well just go the whole way and lower your scar the previous surgeon put up too high.

ANY ADVICE IS GREATLY APPRECIATED ❤️
