Are warping necks a common issue?
I have a lot of great looking blanks that are sawn this way.
What is your longterm experience with grain being like this?
The humidity is about 7% and I don't want lacquer on it, just oil, so maybe the "naked" wood is more susceptible to humidity changes?
How do you avoid this issue when spray painting your headstock?
It's a pain in the ass to sand this...
Tone pot only reacts after about 7
Hey guys, I'm pretty desperate.
No matter what I do my tone pot only rolls off till after about 7ish. Before that pretty much nothing happens.
Of course I use logarithmic pots (Göldo, german manufacturer) and I alternate between 0,022uF and 0,047uF, doesn't make a difference in behavior, cap after cap, pot after pot.
What am I missing?
On the pic: green is from volume pot, obviously, and the case is ground
EDIT: when I measure they're about 100k halfway rolled down (500k pots)
