Bertie on why translators and actors are surprisingly alike!

As a translator myself, this acknowledgement of the craft is just lovely and it's so nice to see an artist do it in such a thoughtful way. Lucky Bruna to have been with him all day translating his words! I'll bide my time for when he's doing SeriesMania or any other French festival...

Bertie speaks on the difference between theatre and film @ IGS

Focus is the hardest part. In theatre, “the good or bad is determined in rehearsal” and “each performance needs to be as good or better than the last” whereas in filmmaking the "hurry up and wait" of it all can be a killer.
