wmsu nursing student sched

For BSN students, how would you rate your school sched from 1st year to 4th? Like mahaba ba yung break in-between each sub?

I saw one creator kasi on tiktok who's also a nursing student from wmsu and parang ang rami niyang time, to the point na nakaka uwi siya ng 1-2 times 😥 (although ofc big factor rin if may transpo and how close you live sa campus pero I'm curious lang kasi I commute: from campus. to town, to another jeep pauwi. So if ever man mahaba yung gap ng mga sub, I can plan na on how I will manage it para I can hopefully lessen my workload pag-uwi)

creepy ukay spot fronting arcada

I went to the ukay ukay store right across arcada because I've been eyeing it for a while.

Background check: I LOVE UKAY. It can be a hit or miss pero I enjoy parin talaga yung kayod sa paghahanap ng clothes, esp. when I'm with my mom (parang "bonding" moment na rin). Some ukay store can be a bit on a pricer side, ranging from 100-170, or even 200. Don't get me wrong, I still think that's cheap, but for a second hand (and worn out) clothing, I don't think that's reasonable. That's why my go-to's are magay and sta. cruz, but ofc the downside would be: mainit and mabaho. Pero siyempre that's understandable kasi nga palengke.

Fast forward to whenever I go to arcada or pass by that same route, I always take notice of the ukay ukay sa other side ng road. Malaki yung store, fully covered ('di ka ma-aarawan), and marami silang stock ng clothes. It looks promising so I thought of giving it a try next time.

That next time came, and as soon as I stepped inside, iba talaga yung feeling. I thought sabi sabi lang ng mga tao sa kmjs yung na ffeel nila na "heavy feeling" kapag pumapasok sa haunted places, pero that day, na feel ko siya. I tried looking for pieces that's cute and something na I can wear on a daily, they have 20 pesos tops, 55 pesos skirts and such. The most expensive is yung t-shirts and polo shirts at around 200. Again, it looks promising kasi marami, pero dahil sa rami rin, nakaka overwhelm na (this is coming from someone na batak mag-ukay sa magay ah). And mas nakaka-overwhelm kasi I can't shake the feeling of heaviness and the creepy vibes that I get. I tried exploring more, pumunta ako sa back part kung saan yung mga jeans and jackets, AND GIRL, I CAN'T EVEN EXPLAIN YUNG FEELING. Alam mo yung super creepy na kasi parang ang cramped, and siksik and I can't even walk in-between sa mga racks na may jacket kasi kakaiba lang talaga ang feels.

I don't know if psychological issues lang talaga yun lol pero I ended up not buying anything and just went home. I'm curious if may other people ba na nakapunta doon and felt the same (if yes, share your experience namannn). And if curious ka naman AHAHHAA, again it's just infront of arcada, sa kabilang road lang.

Also, do you think ganun yung nafeel ko because of the clothings itself or dahil sa place? (may brief horror history ba yung lugar na yun? 😭)

adzu and wmsu NAT result

For context, I'm an incoming first year student. I passed the entrance exam in WMSU and ADZU. Since my desired course is nursing, both schools require students to take their Nursing Aptitude Test. I took the NAT in ateneo last April 24, and the result is finally out, I passed! I'm scheduled to be interviewed by monday, next week. After that, if I do pass my interview, then the most logical step that I should take is to secure my spot and I would have to pass all the requirements and such.

But the problem is, I'm still waiting for my WMSU NAT result to be posted. I just took it this monday so I would probably need to wait for a whole month to get the results + I have to wait for an interview schedule pa.

My question is, if I do end up qualifying for the interview in adzu and I have to pass the needed requirements to secure my slot, does that automatically mean that I have to enroll there?

Because honestly speaking, although ateneo is a good school, it is known to equip students with great knowledge and hone their skills for the future, still, I don't think I can catch up financially. Although I can say that my family can provide for my needs, and sometimes my wants, but I do not want to add to the burden that they already carry. The price of food, gas and basically everything is continuously increasing, and I'm afraid that there will be a time in the future where it will be hard for us to make our ends meet (esp. if i choose to study in adzu). That's why my ultimate DREAM school is WMSU. Their bar passing rate is high, and of course the most obvious one, the expenses needed to support my education is definitely lower compared to if I enter a private school.

- Back to my question, I have to wait months before I can make sure that I'm qualified to enter/study nursing in wmsu, and if I do pass, I would definitely enroll there right away. But now that the results are not yet out, should I secure my spot in ateneo first, then retrieve it once I get the results in wmsu (it that allowed)?
