Hello reddit! Naiinggit na talaga ako sa mga nag hehealthy lifestyle ngayon na young adults like me kaso wala akong kasama para mag hiking, running, or pickle ball. Di ko pa din kaya ng mag-isa lang.

So why not mag gym nalang? Mas mabuti siguro if may proper trainer kasi babae po ako at wala masyadong alam sa proper forms, meal preps, and workouts na dapat gawin para sa goals ko.

Nostalgic thought lang… grabe talaga yung early internet days no. mIRC, Yahoo Messenger, DALnet, tapos yung time na you can send a text message then it will be posted on a live broadcast channel, may televiewers yung GC nyo era tapos PLDT dial-up pa ang connection na pag may tumawag sa landline, disconnect ka agad. And yet we are all so patient. 😭

Back then I met someone sa mIRC chat wala pang photos, no guarantees, just pure convo and timing. Wala pa yung scammer culture ngayon, kaya mas fearless pa lahat. I didn’t even care kung sino siya IRL at first, basta yung connection felt real. But when I first saw her, DAMN! Ang ganda and I froze, literally.

Then it turned into something real… a 10-year relationship. Longest I’ve ever had.

And what makes it even more surreal is how everything felt so “local internet culture” back then like yung TV chat channel sa cable where you send a text message and it literally flashes live on screen sa TV 😭 parang public GC na broadcasted pa, only Zamboanga kids will remember that era. Nakalimutan ko lang yung name.

But we grew up, life happened, and now I’m single again. Pero weirdly, when I check her profiles minsan, she’s still single too.

It’s funny how some people from that era never really become “just memories”… they stay like unfinished sentences in your life.
