[SUPER MANILA COMIC CON 2026] Anyone in their mid-30s and up going solo?
Hey everyone! 👋
I’m wondering if there are any people in their mid-30s and up who are planning to attend SUPER MANILA COMIC CON 2026.
I recently ended an 18-year relationship. I got into that relationship pretty early in life, so this is honestly the first time I’m really learning how to do things I enjoy on my own. 😅
Going to a comic con is something I’d genuinely like to try, but I’m a little unsure about going completely solo. I’m wondering if there are existing groups, meetups, or just other people who might be interested in pairing up and exploring the con together.
I’m also open to hearing from people who’ve gone to cons alone before: Is going solo actually better than trying to find a group? Does it feel awkward at first, or is it pretty easy to meet people once you’re there?
I’d especially love to hear from fellow 30-somethings and up who might be in the same boat. No pressure or expectations, just looking for some new experiences and hopefully some cool people to hang out with. 😊
