Baum Kuchen Customizations

I am getting my first TN customization from Baum Kuchen after waiting 3 years. I always got sidetracked by other planner and journal systems, and other times it felt like I didn't deserve the custom...I don't know lol

But anyways...I found my way back to TN and finally requested a custom after everything just falling into place. I plan to use it as my everything life book.

Have you guys gone through the custom process, and if so, how do you use it?

Traveler's Notebook Inserts

I find myself moving back to bullet journaling and long-form journaling in a Traveler's Notebook. I am looking at notebooks, comparing prices and usage.

I do have a preference for MD paper notebooks.

I also don't live in an area where I can go to a store and buy Traveler's items.

So I am curious: for people who use this system, do you guys make your own inserts, or do you just buy inserts?

Follow-Up Question: Planner/ journal usage

Is anyone out there confused when people mention that they have a catch-all planner, but then they have 5+ other planners? Like isn't the catch-all supposed to catch-all? Am I the only one confused? And multiple everyday carries...

I was so perplexed I google the term catch-all planner and this is what Cloth & Paper says "A catch-all planner includes all aspects of your planning in one place ⸺ calendars, task lists, meal plans, goals, notes, work planning, home planning, and more. This is a great option for those that prefer to use one planner instead of separating planning by functionality. By keeping all of your inserts in one place while still using organization for the different aspects of your planning lifestyle, you can create your perfect catch-all planner!:"

So...did we over time just change the meaning of catch-all? Someone please explain....

Planner/ journal usage

So I have been in the planner community for decades. I have used just about every system out there. I’ve done the customs, bullet journals, you name it. But as I watch people on YouTube show their techo kaigi, ecosystem, whatever you call it, I am just wondering if people in real life buy 5-14+ planners/ journals all at one time to use for one year???

Me personally: I found I cannot use more than two books unless in a TN. I feel like my contentment is bullet journaling in a TN.

So I am curious if people who are not on the interwebs haul a large amount of planners and journals at one time and actually use them all because I do see people in the comments consigning so I am just wondering if it’s a real thing.

New Stationery Store

Check out East Eden on Dimond blvd if you are interested in stationery other than what is sold at Barnes and Nobles. The people there are so nice. The owners say that they plan to expand their selection as they are on waitlist for certain items. But they sell campus, midori, Tombow, suatelier, lochby and more. It is a tiny shop, but I can see this being really great for Alaska. Especially if you want to cut down on the amount of purchases online.
